Male and female students will not have to pay any down payment or advance payment for the Punjab e-bike scheme. The monthly installment has been set at the minimum level of Rs3,000.
Students will also receive a free helmet, safety rod and two days of free riding training along with the bike.
The initiatives launched by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for students have been described as exemplary and historic.

No Down Payment for Students
Under the Punjab government’s e-bike programme, students will be able to obtain electric bikes without paying any upfront amount. The decision is aimed at reducing the financial burden on students and making personal transport more accessible.
Free Helmet and Safety Rod
Students receiving an e-bike will also be provided with a free helmet and safety rod. The additional safety equipment will be supplied with the bike as part of the scheme.
Two Days of Free Riding Training
The programme will also provide two days of free riding training to male and female students. The training is intended to provide basic guidance on riding safely.
Maryam Nawaz’s Student Initiatives
The student-focused initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz have been described as exemplary and historic. The e-bike scheme is also presented as an effort to improve transport facilities for young people and reduce their daily travel expenses.
