Gold prices continued to decline in Pakistan on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs2,400 per tola to Rs463,136.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs2,058 to Rs397,064. The international gold price fell by $24 to $4,406 per ounce.
Gold Price Compared With the Previous Day
The previous session had also recorded a significant decline. On Saturday, September 5, 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,600 per tola to Rs465,536. The price of 10 grams declined by Rs3,086 to Rs399,122.
This means gold has fallen by a further Rs2,400 per tola from the previous reported rate of Rs465,536.
The international price also dropped from $4,430 per ounce in the previous session to $4,406 on Monday.
Silver Price Also Declines
Silver prices also moved lower in the domestic market.
The price of silver fell by Rs39 per tola to Rs7,059 on Monday.
Overall, gold has recorded consecutive declines in the Pakistani market, following a similar downward trend in international bullion prices.
