Gold prices declined again in both Pakistan and the international market on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,000 per tola to Rs462,136. The price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs857 to Rs396,207.
Silver Price Rises
Unlike gold, silver became more expensive in the domestic market. The price of silver increased by Rs10 per tola to Rs7,069.
The price of 10 grams of silver also rose by Rs9 to Rs6,060.
International Gold Price
In the international market, gold declined by $10 per ounce to $4,396.
The latest fall follows a larger decline a day earlier. On September 7, 24-karat gold in Pakistan fell by Rs2,400 per tola to Rs463,136, while 10-gram gold dropped by Rs2,058 to Rs397,064.
International gold also fell by $24 per ounce on September 7, reaching $4,406 per ounce.
Over the two consecutive trading sessions, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan has therefore declined by Rs3,400 per tola, from Rs465,536 to Rs462,136.
