Pakistani actress Dar Feshan Salem has responded confidently to social media users who mocked her weight and physical appearance following a scene in a television drama.
After an episode of a drama aired on a private television channel, some social media users began commenting on the actress’s physique, particularly her arms and shoulders. The criticism intensified after she appeared in a sleeveless shirt in one of the scenes.
AI-Generated Images Fuel Online Mockery
Some users went beyond ordinary criticism and used artificial intelligence (AI) to create manipulated images showing the actress with unusually large arm muscles. In some posts, she was compared to international professional wrestlers.
The actress also faced body-shaming and negative comments about her weight, build and appearance in the drama. Several social media users made inappropriate remarks about her physique.
Dar Feshan Responds With Confidence
Instead of expressing anger or appearing distressed by the online trolling, Dar Feshan responded in a confident and light-hearted manner.
She shared a promotional video for a luxury brand on Instagram, accompanied by a sarcastic caption: “Always fit: And that is the tweet.”
Her brief response quickly gained attention on social media and went viral. Although she did not name any of her critics, many users interpreted the post as a confident response to the comments about her body.
Fans Praise Her Positive Attitude
Drama viewers and social media users praised the actress for her confidence, positive attitude and apparent refusal to let online criticism affect her.
Her response also drew appreciation from fans who supported her right to feel comfortable in her own body without facing ridicule over her weight or physical appearance.
The incident has once again drawn attention to body-shaming on social media, where public figures often face personal attacks over their appearance.
