Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela’s team has reportedly initiated legal action against a Los Angeles-based artificial intelligence company over the alleged unauthorized use of her name, images and videos.
According to a statement issued by the actress’s team, the company allegedly used Rautela’s identity and personal content without obtaining her permission.
Legal Action Over Alleged Unauthorized Use
The team said legal proceedings are being pursued against the company and that the estimated damages in the case currently stand at Rs7,000 crore.
The statement emphasized that an individual’s name, image or likeness should not be used for commercial purposes without obtaining proper authorization.
The actress’s team said the legal action is aimed at protecting Rautela’s identity and rights and addressing the alleged unauthorized use of her personal material.
