Islamabad (August 25, 2026) — All seats allocated under the government Hajj Scheme for Hajj 2027 have been filled in a record short period. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the entire government scheme quota was completed in just seven days, while all seats for the 20- to 25-day short Hajj package were booked within 24 hours of the start of dues collection.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the process of collecting dues for the Hajj 2027 government scheme began during the night between August 18 and 19. Due to an overwhelming response from intending pilgrims, the seats for the short Hajj package were filled on the very first day, while the remaining seats for the long Hajj package were also completed by noon on August 25.

Confidence in the Ministry

Ministry officials said the government Hajj scheme quota being filled within such a short period reflects the confidence of intending pilgrims in the government’s Hajj arrangements. They added that the rapid completion of bookings also demonstrates growing public trust in the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

A modern digital system has been placed at the center of the Hajj 2027 arrangements. The digital Hajj platform, developed in cooperation with the National Information Technology Board, has enabled intending pilgrims to complete various stages of Hajj booking and payment of dues from home.

Pak Hajj App

The Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal have made the process of submitting applications, selecting Hajj packages and paying dues faster and more convenient. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the digital system has played an important role in streamlining the Hajj booking process while also improving transparency.

The Ministry’s spokesperson said the completion of all seats under the government Hajj scheme within a record period was the result of joint efforts by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the National Information Technology Board.

The spokesperson added that efforts to modernize Hajj arrangements in line with the latest digital requirements are continuing under the leadership of Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf.

Private Hajj Scheme Booking

Meanwhile, booking for the Private Hajj Scheme for Hajj 2027 is also continuing through the Hajj Portal. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, bookings under the private Hajj scheme will remain open until the allocated quota is filled.

The Ministry has advised intending pilgrims to use only officially provided digital platforms for Hajj applications, payments and other related matters.

Officials said the primary objective of shifting the Hajj operation to a fully digital system is to provide maximum facilities to intending pilgrims from the comfort of their homes, ensure greater transparency in administrative procedures, and make different stages of the Hajj process faster, easier and more efficient.

The early completion of bookings for Hajj 2027 is being viewed as a significant indication of the positive results of the government’s digital Hajj policy.
