Gold prices increased again in Pakistan on Friday, with the per-tola rate rising by Rs3,900 to Rs469,136.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs3,344 to Rs402,208.
Yesterday’s gold price
On Thursday, September 3, gold was priced at Rs465,236 per tola after rising by Rs11,200 during the day. The price of 10 grams stood at Rs398,864 after an increase of Rs9,602.
The latest increase means gold gained another Rs3,900 per tola compared with Thursday’s rate.
Silver prices also increase
The price of silver also moved higher in the local market.
Silver increased by Rs117 per tola to Rs7,161. The price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs100 to Rs6,139.
International gold market
Gold prices also remained higher in the international market. The latest local rates followed gains in global bullion prices.
