Dubai Gold District has announced plans to construct the world’s longest 24-karat gold walkway, with the attraction scheduled to open to the public within the next two months.
According to Gulf Today, the project is expected to be completed before the end of 2026 and will become a new addition to Dubai’s tourism attractions.
Walkway to Offer a Unique Visitor Experience
Rashid Al Harmoudi, Senior Director of the Commercial Sector at Dubai Gold District, said the walkway would be opened to the public within the next two months.
He said the project aims to offer visitors a unique experience while further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global centre for gold trading and tourism.
Part of Dubai Gold District’s Wider Development Plans
The proposed walkway is part of Dubai Gold District’s broader plans to bring gold trading, jewellery retail and tourism experiences together at a single destination.
Located in Deira, the district was launched in January 2026. It brings together businesses involved in gold, jewellery, bullion, wholesale trading and investment.
More Than 1,000 Traders in the District
According to the Dubai Media Office, the district is home to more than 1,000 traders operating across various sectors, including gold, jewellery, perfumery, cosmetics and lifestyle products.
The development is intended to strengthen the district’s role as a destination for gold-related businesses, retail and tourism.
