Islamabad (August 25, 2026) — Japanese automaker Suzuki has released advance information about its new fully electric Kei Car, the e SKY. The company officially released information about the vehicle on August 24, 2026, announcing plans to formally introduce the e SKY in Japan in Autumn 2026. This means that as of August 25, 2026, the vehicle has not yet been fully launched in the market and remains in the pre-launch stage.
What is the Suzuki e SKY?
The Suzuki e SKY is the company’s new battery-electric vehicle designed primarily for urban use. The vehicle has been developed with a focus on compact dimensions, low weight, efficient energy consumption and easy driving.
According to Suzuki, the concept behind the e SKY is to make the transition from petrol-powered vehicles to electric vehicles easier. Its dimensions comply with Japan’s Kei Car category, making it particularly suitable for urban traffic and tight parking spaces.
26 kWh LFP Battery
The e SKY is equipped with a 26 kWh LFP battery. Instead of using a larger and heavier battery, Suzuki has focused on keeping the vehicle lightweight and improving overall efficiency.
Despite its relatively small battery capacity, the vehicle has a claimed range of approximately 310 kilometers, making it a notable option among compact electric vehicles.
Claimed Range of Around 310 Kilometers
One of the key highlights of the Suzuki e SKY is its claimed range of approximately 310 kilometers.
However, real-world range can vary depending on driving speed, air-conditioning use, weather conditions, passenger load and road conditions. The claimed figure should therefore not be considered a guaranteed everyday driving range.
50 kW DC Fast Charging
The new Suzuki EV supports 50 kW DC fast charging. According to the available information, the battery can be charged to approximately 80 percent in around 25 minutes.
For home charging, a 6 kW AC charger can fully charge the battery in approximately 4.5 hours, making overnight charging a practical option for daily users.
V2L Power Supply
The Suzuki e SKY also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, allowing the vehicle’s battery to supply electricity to external electrical devices.
The vehicle provides up to 100V and 1,500W of power output, allowing users to operate various small electrical appliances when needed.
Compact Size Designed for Urban Driving
The e SKY measures approximately 3,395 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width and 1,625 mm in height, while its wheelbase is around 2,460 mm.
The vehicle weighs approximately 1,030 kilograms. Its low weight helps improve energy efficiency, while its compact dimensions and small turning circle make it easier to drive and park in urban areas.
Modern Interior and Technology
The Suzuki e SKY features a modern and relatively simple interior design. Its equipment includes a 10.1-inch central infotainment display, digital instrument display, heated seats, a heated steering wheel and an electronic parking brake.
The vehicle also features heat-pump air conditioning, which can help improve energy efficiency and preserve battery range during climate-control operation.
Front-Wheel Drive
The e SKY has been developed with Front-Wheel Drive (FWD). Suzuki has tuned the vehicle to provide a smooth and familiar driving experience, particularly for customers switching from conventional petrol-powered vehicles to an EV.
Has the Suzuki e SKY Been Launched in Pakistan?
No. As of August 25, 2026, the Suzuki e SKY has not been officially launched in Pakistan, and Pak Suzuki has not announced its local launch or booking.
The current official product information from Suzuki Pakistan includes various models for the local market, but the e SKY is not currently part of the company’s Pakistani lineup.
Therefore, any unofficial information circulating about the vehicle’s price, bookings or launch date in Pakistan should not be considered confirmed.
When Could It Arrive in Pakistan?
At present, Pak Suzuki has not announced any confirmed launch date for the e SKY in Pakistan.
If the company decides to introduce the vehicle in Pakistan in the future, its price would likely be influenced by factors such as import duties, taxes, the country’s EV policy and whether the vehicle is imported as a completely built unit or assembled locally.
The compact EV could be particularly attractive to Pakistani consumers looking for a small, energy-efficient vehicle for daily urban commuting and easy parking.
When Will It Officially Launch in Japan?
According to Suzuki, the e SKY is scheduled to make its formal debut in Japan in Autumn 2026. Therefore, the information released on August 24 should be viewed as advance/pre-launch information rather than a full commercial launch.
The vehicle is also linked to Suzuki’s Vision e-Sky concept, which the company previously showcased at the Japan Mobility Show.
Price Has Not Yet Been Announced
As of August 25, 2026, Suzuki has not announced the final official price of the e SKY.
There is also no official price for Pakistan because Pak Suzuki has not confirmed the model’s local launch.
