The seats under Pakistan’s government Hajj scheme for the 2027 long Hajj package are filling up rapidly, with only around 18,500 seats now remaining.
88,700 Pilgrims Pay First Installment
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, a total of 88,700 intending pilgrims have so far deposited the first installment of their Hajj dues.
Punjab leads with 46,400 pilgrims, followed by Sindh with 23,500 and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 11,300. A total of 3,933 pilgrims from Islamabad, 2,555 from Balochistan, 677 from Gilgit-Baltistan and 362 from Azad Kashmir have also paid their first installment.
Record Online Payments
The spokesperson said the Hajj portal operated by the National IT Board has recorded a new milestone in online payments. More than Rs55 billion in first-installment Hajj dues have been collected through the portal over the past three days.
Around 40 percent of pilgrims have opted to pay through OneLink or cards, while Balochistan recorded the highest online payment ratio at 72 percent.

Pilgrims can pay their dues through PSID, cards or manual bank challans using the Hajj portal and the Pak Hajj app.
Booking May Close Soon
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has advised people planning to perform Hajj 2027 to complete their details and payment process as soon as possible.
The spokesperson said bookings for the 40-day Hajj package will be closed once the required number of pilgrims is reached.
