Oil prices in the global market have reached a three-month high amid rising tensions in Yemen.
Oil Prices Rise by More Than 13%
Following Iran, escalating tensions in Yemen have triggered a further increase in global oil prices, pushing crude oil prices to their highest level in three months.
Oil prices have risen by more than 13% during the current week. US crude oil has reached $100 per barrel, while UK crude oil has climbed to $104 per barrel.
Middle East Tensions Raise Supply Concerns
The main reasons being cited for the increase in global oil prices are growing tensions in the Middle East and concerns that oil supplies from the region could be disrupted.
