The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Authority has made registration mandatory for all tour operators and travel agents operating across the province.
According to an official notification, legal action will be taken against businesses providing tourism-related services without completing the required registration.
Mandatory Registration for Tourism Services
Under the new directive, no individual or company will be allowed to conduct tours, operate a travel agency, or provide tourism-related services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without completing the required registration process.
Unregistered tour operators and travel agents have been directed to immediately complete their registration through the designated online system and follow the prescribed procedure.
Legal Action for Violations
Officials said the measure is aimed at improving the monitoring and regulation of tourism service providers across the province.
The notification states that tour operators and travel agents that continue to operate without registration will face legal action under the relevant laws.
Warning for Tourists and the Public
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Authority has advised tourists and the general public to avoid using the services of unregistered tour operators and travel agents.
The public has also been urged to report any unregistered or illegal tour operator or travel agent to the relevant authorities.
