The collection of the second installment of dues under Pakistan’s government Hajj scheme for Hajj 2027 is ongoing, with 32,178 pilgrims having completed their payments so far.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs spokesperson, Rs. 20.5 billion has been received under the second installment. The final deadline for payment has been set for October 20.
57% of Payments Made Online
The spokesperson said 17,000 pilgrims completed their second installment payments from home through OneLink.
Another 1,400 pilgrims used bank cards, while 13,800 opted for manual bank challans to deposit their dues.
The share of online payments made from home through the Digital Hajj Portal has exceeded 57%.
Payment Methods for Government Scheme
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the second installment of Hajj dues can be paid through OneLink, bank cards or manual bank challans via the Hajj Portal developed by the National IT Board.
Medical Fitness Certificate Required
A total of 103,000 pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme have uploaded their medical fitness certificates through the app.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs said pilgrims who have not yet submitted their medical fitness certificates must have the medical fitness form available on the Hajj Portal verified by a doctor.
33,171 Pilgrims Pay Under Private Scheme
Meanwhile, bookings under the private Hajj scheme are continuing through the Pak Hajj App.
So far, 33,171 pilgrims have deposited their dues under the private scheme, while 38,500 seats remain available.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs spokesperson advised pilgrims to use only the Pak Hajj App or Hajj Portal for bookings and payments under the private Hajj scheme.
