The Story of Dar-e-Nijaat
The central character of the drama is Zamil, played by Nameer Khan. He is portrayed as a young man who fails to achieve the grades required for admission to an Ivy League university.
On the other hand, his love interest Zaryab belongs to a similarly privileged family and manages to secure admission to a prestigious university in the United States.
The situation becomes a source of intense psychological pressure for Zamil, as many of his friends have already been accepted into Ivy League universities. His anxiety continues to grow as he struggles with his perceived failure and compares himself with others.

Zaryab deeply loves Zamil and appears willing to put her own future at stake for him. Despite this, Zamil remains unable to overcome his feelings of inadequacy and insecurity.
The situation becomes more complicated when Abu Bakar Aman, played by Sheheryar Munawar, enters the story. Abu Bakar is a confident, educated, hardworking and successful young man who has graduated from Harvard University.
When Zamil learns that Zaryab’s grandmother is interested in marrying her to Abu Bakar, his anxiety increases further.
He begins to view Abu Bakar as a potential rival and starts comparing himself with him.
