Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has arrived in London from Paris, where he is expected to stay with his father, President Asif Ali Zardari.
According to sources, Bilawal spent about a week in Austria before travelling to Paris for a short visit. He reached London on Thursday evening, September 3.
His sister Aseefa Bhutto Zardari is also expected to arrive in London in the coming days. Bakhtawar Arrives in London, Aseefa Also Expected to Follow.
Bilawal previously denied marriage rumours
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari recently rejected social media reports claiming that he had become engaged or was preparing to get married.
In a video statement posted on X on Monday, August 31, Bilawal said neither his engagement nor marriage had been arranged.
He said social media had gone from claiming that his marriage had been arranged to announcing his engagement and wedding, even though none of this had happened.
Bilawal also said he did not know anyone referred to online as “Princess Gloria.”
Family to announce any personal decision
Bilawal said that if there was ever a decision concerning his personal life, his family would make the announcement themselves.
He described the speculation about his engagement and marriage as a “spectacle” that was diverting public attention from more important issues.
The rumours had circulated on social media in recent days, with some claims suggesting that Bilawal was set to become engaged to a woman from a European family.
No official confirmation of those claims had emerged.
PPP leader and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab had also rejected the reports about Bilawal’s engagement and marriage as false and baseless.
