ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia’s newly established national airline, Riyadh Air, is expanding its operations in Pakistan with the launch of regular flights between Islamabad and Riyadh from August 14.

The airline has opened ticket sales for both Islamabad-Riyadh and Lahore-Riyadh services. The Islamabad route will operate seven flights a week, while Lahore will initially have three weekly flights, with its first service scheduled for August 18.

The new routes will be operated with Riyadh Air’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, offering Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. The airline says the services are designed to provide convenient onward connections to destinations across Europe and the Middle East.

The expansion is expected to provide Pakistani business and leisure travellers with another direct travel option to Saudi Arabia, while also strengthening air connectivity between Pakistan and the wider international network.
