Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed another significant increase on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, with the price of 24-karat gold reaching Rs463,936 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,200 per tola in the local bullion market. A day earlier, gold was trading at Rs459,736 per tola.
10-Gram Gold Price
The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also increased significantly. On Wednesday, 10 grams of gold reached Rs397,750, compared with Rs394,149 on the previous day.
This means the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,601 in a single day.

The price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams also increased by Rs3,301, reaching Rs364,617.
Gold Prices Also Rise in the International Market
Alongside the increase in Pakistan, gold prices also moved higher in the international bullion market. The international price of gold increased by $42 per ounce to $4,415.
The rise in international gold prices has a direct impact on Pakistan’s local bullion market. Domestic gold prices are influenced by several factors, including international gold rates and the value of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar.
Gold Prices Continue to Rise
Gold prices in Pakistan have continued to rise during the past few trading sessions. On Tuesday, August 11, the price of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs2,400 per tola, reaching Rs459,736.
As a result, the price of gold has increased by a total of Rs6,600 per tola in just two days.
Following the latest increase, the price of gold has moved closer to the important level of Rs465,000 per tola. Further gains in international gold prices or significant changes in the value of the Pakistani rupee could lead to additional fluctuations in the local bullion market.

Silver Prices Also Increase
Along with gold, silver prices in Pakistan also recorded an increase. The price of 24-karat silver rose by Rs146 per tola to Rs7,111, while the price of 10 grams of silver was recorded at Rs6,096.
