The State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme offers eligible beneficiaries a chance to win cash prizes of up to Rs. 10 million by receiving overseas remittances through a bank account.
The scheme has an annual prize pool of Rs. 16 billion, with 2,521 cash prizes worth Rs. 4 billion to be distributed in each quarterly draw.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, a beneficiary must receive home remittances equivalent to at least $100 per month for three consecutive months within a quarter.
The remittances must be received through a bank account using formal banking channels. For example, a beneficiary who receives at least $100 in October, November and December will qualify for the quarterly draw covering that period.
How Entries Are Earned
Eligible beneficiaries will receive digital, non-transferable entry numbers based on the amount of remittances received.
A remittance of $100 earns one entry, provided the beneficiary meets the requirement of receiving remittances for three consecutive months. Higher remittance amounts generate entries in proportion to the amount received.
For example, receiving $100 in October, $200 in November and $300 in December would generate a total of six entries.
Prize Details
Each quarterly draw will offer 2,521 cash prizes.
The first prize will be Rs. 10 million for one winner. The second prize will be Rs. 25 million each for 20 winners.
The third prize will be Rs. 10 million each for 100 winners, while 2,400 winners will receive Rs. 1 million each as the fourth prize.
Across four quarterly draws, 9,600 beneficiaries can win Rs. 1 million each. More than 10,000 beneficiaries will receive prizes annually, with the total annual prize pool reaching Rs. 16 billion.
First Draw on January 15, 2027
The first draw will be held on January 15, 2027, covering eligible remittances received from October 1 to December 31, 2026.
The quarterly draws will be conducted through a fully digital and auditable process.
Remittance Regions Covered
Quarterly prizes will be distributed according to major remittance regions. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries will account for 50% of the prizes, followed by the UK with 15%, Europe with 15%, North America with 10%, and other countries with 10%.
The Rs. 10 million first prize will be open to eligible beneficiaries receiving remittances from all regions.

Participation in the Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme will be free. Eligible beneficiaries will not have to pay a fee, purchase a ticket, maintain a minimum balance, or make any other payment to participate.
