Indian film star Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has appealed to Generation Z for support amid renewed speculation about her marriage and rumors involving Govinda and his co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar.
According to the a news report, Sunita Ahuja referred to the “demons” in her life while visiting a temple in Kolkata and said she had come to pray to the goddess for those obstacles to be removed.
Speaking to the media, she said there were “some demons” in her life and that she had come to the temple seeking their destruction.
Appeal to Women and Gen Z
Sunita Ahuja also said that what was happening was being done for publicity and urged the public not to support such behavior.
Addressing Generation Z and women, she appealed for their support, saying that what was happening to her was not right and that her home was being broken apart without any reason.
Rumors Surrounding Govinda’s Marriage
Reports emerged in December 2024 that Sunita Ahuja had filed for divorce from Govinda. In February 2025, the actor’s manager confirmed that the couple had faced problems but said the issues had been resolved.
In August 2026, Sunita Ahuja withdrew her divorce petition as speculation intensified over an alleged relationship between Govinda and his co-star.
Govinda and Komal Rani Swarnkar have reportedly been seen together at Mumbai airport and later at Lalbaugcha Raja this year, fueling further speculation about their relationship.
Govinda Responds to Rumors
Govinda, while speaking to the media, said the matter was not anyone else’s concern, adding that even if there were an affair, he was working and maintaining professional relationships.
The actor also said he had previously visited temples with Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon, describing those visits as bringing good fortune.
