Apple has officially launched its latest Mac mini and Mac Studio models in more than 30 countries and regions, including the United States, with same-day pickup now available at multiple Apple Stores.
The launch comes just days after Apple introduced its flagship iPhone 18 series and other products.
Same-Day Store Pickup
Customers ordering through Apple’s online store can select the pickup option during checkout, enter their ZIP code and choose a nearby Apple Store.
Online payment must be completed before pickup, and customers may be required to present a valid government-issued photo ID and their order number when collecting the device.
However, same-day pickup is not available for custom Mac configurations with upgraded specifications ordered through Apple’s online store.
Mac mini Prices and Specifications
The newly launched Mac mini with the M6 chip is priced at $899, while eligible education customers can purchase it for $799.
The Mac mini with the M5 Pro chip is priced at $1,699, with an education price of $1,599.
Mac Studio Pricing
Apple’s new Mac Studio with the M5 Max chip starts at $2,499, while the M5 Ultra model starts at $5,499.
For education customers, the M5 Max and M5 Ultra versions are priced at $2,299 and $5,099, respectively.
Apple Upgrade Option
Apple is also offering an upgrade option to eligible customers across the United States.
Through Apple Upgrade, customers can lease the latest Mac models through monthly payments and upgrade to a newer model when the lease ends.
Mac mini and Mac Studio Explained
The Mac mini is Apple’s smallest desktop computer. It has a compact design and does not include a built-in display or keyboard, so users need to connect their own display, keyboard and mouse.
The Mac mini is designed for everyday use, office work and students.
The Mac Studio is also a desktop computer but is larger and more powerful than the Mac mini. It is aimed at professional users working with video editing, graphics, music production and demanding software.
Like the Mac mini, the Mac Studio does not include a built-in display.
Desktop Computers, Not Laptops
Both devices are desktop computers designed to sit on a desk rather than portable laptops.
Apple has equipped the latest models with its new M5 and M6 chips, offering updated hardware across the Mac mini and Mac Studio lineup.
