Apple Music has officially launched its music streaming service in Pakistan, making the platform available to Pakistani users nearly 11 years after its global debut in 2015.
Pakistani users can now subscribe to the Apple Music Individual plan for Rs. 379 per month, while the Family plan is priced at Rs. 649 per month. Both plans include a one-month free trial for new subscribers.
Local Pricing and Payment Options
The launch introduces Pakistan-specific pricing for Apple Music. The service also supports payments through PayPak, providing local users with an additional payment option for their subscriptions.
The service had undergone testing in Pakistan for several months before its official launch, paving the way for its wider availability to consumers.
Competition in Pakistan’s Streaming Market
Apple Music enters Pakistan’s music streaming market at a time when Spotify and YouTube Music already have established user bases in the country and offer local payment options.
The arrival of Apple Music gives Pakistani consumers another major option for accessing music through a subscription-based streaming service.
After years of waiting, iPhone and other Apple users in Pakistan can now directly access Apple Music under locally priced subscription plans.
