Chery Master Pakistan has opened bookings for its all-electric Chery Q at Rs1.5 million, ahead of its official launch at the Pakistan Auto Show on September 18, 2026.
The company is expected to announce the final price and complete commercial details of the Chery Q at the auto show.
The Chery Q is positioned as an upgrade rather than a conventional replacement, offering a spacious cabin, distinctive urban design and everyday practicality in an all-electric package.
The vehicle measures 1,811mm in width and has a 2,700mm wheelbase, which the company says is longer than that of most C-SUVs in Pakistan. It also offers 152mm of rear knee room.
Features and technology
The Chery Q comes with electric rear-wheel drive, mobile app control, voice commands and 6.6kW vehicle-to-load technology.
Safety features include six airbags, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems with 21 functions and a 540-degree high-definition camera.
The vehicle also features automatic parking, three driving modes and a 15.6-inch 2.5K display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Battery, range and running costs
The Chery Q is equipped with a 42.7kWh battery and offers up to 400km of range under the NEDC testing standard.
According to the company, the vehicle delivers an efficiency of 9.4km per kWh, making it particularly attractive for households with solar power.
Chery Master Pakistan estimates that a typical petrol vehicle driven 20,000km annually could incur fuel costs of approximately Rs488,000 to Rs569,000. By comparison, the company estimates the annual running cost of the Chery Q at around Rs30,000 when charged using solar power.
Pakistan’s growing EV market
The launch comes as electric vehicle adoption continues to increase in Pakistan. According to the information provided by the company, EV sales rose 257% between FY2024-25 and FY2025-26, increasing from 1,839 units to 6,560 units.
Pakistan also imported 17GW of solar photovoltaic capacity in 2024, more than twice the volume imported during the previous year.
The company said the shift toward electric mobility could have wider implications for Pakistan, where the petroleum import bill reached US$16.86 billion in FY2025-26.
Chery and Master Group partnership
Chery Master Pakistan combines Chery’s global automotive expertise with the local automotive and industrial capabilities of Master Group.
Chery is China’s No. 1 automobile exporter for 23 consecutive years and has a presence in more than 130 countries, with over 20 million customers globally.
In Pakistan, Master Group has more than 60 years of overall experience and over 40 years in the automotive sector. Chery Master says it has established 14 3S dealerships across eight cities in less than 10 months and plans to expand to 20 dealerships across 12 cities within the next six months.
Through Master Yutong, the group has achieved an approximately 80% market share in Pakistan’s bus segment, while components produced by Procon Engineering are integrated into around 15% of locally assembled vehicles.

The group’s joint venture with Changan has also emerged as a major player in Pakistan’s automotive market, becoming the country’s fourth-largest automobile brand in a relatively short period.
The Chery Q is scheduled for its official launch at the Pakistan Auto Show on September 18, 2026, where its final price and commercial details will be announced.
