Toyota Corolla Altis Facelift Spotted in Pakistan Ahead of Official Launch

The new Toyota Corolla Altis facelift has surfaced in Pakistan ahead of its official launch, revealing exterior design updates while key specifications remain unconfirmed.

Urdu Report Desk

The facelifted Toyota Corolla Altis has surfaced in Pakistan ahead of its official launch, offering the first look at several exterior design changes and adding to weeks of speculation surrounding the new model in the local market.

According to automotive website PakWheels, images of the Toyota Corolla Altis facelift show noticeable updates to the car’s exterior design.

Updated Front-End Design

The facelifted model features new headlights, a relatively slimmer upper grille and a redesigned front bumper. The alloy wheels have also been updated.

At the rear, changes have been made to the design of the taillights and bumper. The vehicle spotted in Pakistan also carries “Altis” and “X 1.8” badges.

Facelift Rather Than New Generation

The overall body shape and design remain largely similar to the existing Corolla, indicating that the vehicle is a facelift of the current model rather than an entirely new generation.

According to PakWheels, no major changes to the engine or powertrain of the facelift model have been confirmed so far.

Current Engine Specifications

The Corolla currently available in Pakistan is offered with a 1.6-litre engine producing 120 horsepower and 154 Nm of torque, while the 1.8-litre engine produces 138 horsepower and 173 Nm of torque.

Toyota has yet to officially announce the engine, transmission and final features of the new facelift model.

Corolla’s Position in Pakistan’s Market

The Toyota Corolla has been sold in Pakistan for a long time on the 11th-generation platform. It remains popular because of its strong resale value, availability of spare parts and extensive dealership network.

However, growing competition from Chinese vehicles, hybrids and cars equipped with newer features means that additional features on the facelifted Corolla will also be closely watched by local consumers.

Launch Date and Price Still Unannounced

Toyota has not yet officially announced the launch date, price or final variant lineup of the Corolla Altis facelift in Pakistan.

The current model is priced at approximately Rs 6.12 million to Rs 7.73 million, although the price of the facelift model could be different.

Further details regarding bookings, pricing and other specifications will become clear after Toyota makes an official announcement.
