The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has upgraded its Complaint Management System as part of efforts to ensure the timely resolution of complaints from telecom consumers.
The PTA has also launched a mobile application for the upgraded Complaint Management System, introducing OTP-based multi-factor authentication to improve security.
The authority said the new app will be available for both iOS and Android users and has been designed to provide consumers with a more secure and convenient experience.
Telecom consumers will now be able to register complaints through the mobile app and easily track their progress.
Improved Complaint Verification and Document Upload System
The new application also features an improved system for reviewing complaints and uploading relevant documents.
According to the PTA, these improvements are intended to make the complaint-handling process easier for consumers.
New Module to Report Suspected Mobile Number Fraud
The PTA has also added a new module to the application for reporting suspected fraud involving mobile numbers.
Through this module, consumers will be able to report suspected fraudulent activities related to mobile numbers.
