Super Star has launched the Shark Electric motorcycle in Pakistan, offering a conventional motorcycle design inspired by the styling of traditional 125cc bikes.
The Shark Electric is available with two battery options, both paired with a 2,000W electric motor. The 72V 30Ah version is priced at Rs. 290,000, while the 72V 40Ah variant costs Rs. 325,000.
Two Battery Options
The 72V 30Ah version has a company-claimed range of 80 to 100 km, while the larger 72V 40Ah battery offers a claimed range of 100 to 120 km.
The larger battery option costs Rs. 35,000 more, while both variants use the same 2,000W motor.
Both versions feature LiFePO4 batteries, Economy and Sport riding modes, reverse mode, a digital meter, and disc brakes on both the front and rear.
Traditional Motorcycle Design
Unlike many electric two-wheelers designed around a scooter-style layout, the Shark Electric uses a conventional motorcycle configuration.
Its body design, seating position, and 17-inch alloy wheels give it a look closer to traditional 70cc and 125cc petrol motorcycles.
The layout may appeal to riders who prefer a conventional motorcycle design over a scooter-style electric vehicle.
Riding Modes and Reverse Function
The Shark Electric comes with Economy and Sport riding modes. Economy mode is designed to prioritize range, while Sport mode is intended to provide stronger performance.
The motorcycle also features a reverse mode, which can assist with low-speed maneuvering in parking areas and confined spaces.
Its digital instrument panel displays information including battery charge, speed, and gear position.
Price, Charger and Warranty
Super Star provides an 8A charger with both variants.
The 72V 30Ah model costs Rs. 290,000, while the 72V 40Ah model is priced at Rs. 325,000.
Both versions come with a three-year or 18,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first.
The company advertises a maximum speed of up to 120 km/h. Actual performance may vary depending on rider weight, battery charge, road conditions, and other factors.
