KARACHI: Suzuki maintained its strong position in Pakistan’s auto market during July 2026, with the Suzuki Alto remaining among the country’s best-selling cars. Meanwhile, the Suzuki Swift also recorded a significant increase in sales compared with the previous month.
According to the latest data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), 7,217 units of the Suzuki Alto were sold in July 2026. In June, 7,239 units of the Alto were sold, showing a slight month-on-month decline in July.
Suzuki Swift Sales Rise by 21%
The Suzuki Swift delivered a stronger performance in July. Sales reached 2,018 units, compared with 1,668 units in June, representing an increase of around 21 percent in one month.
Suzuki Cultus and Every Sales
According to the available data, 392 units of the Suzuki Cultus were sold in July, while sales of the Suzuki Every reached 493 units. No sales of the Suzuki Wagon R were reported during the month.
Recovery in Pakistan’s Auto Market
Total sales of locally assembled cars, jeeps and light commercial vehicles reached 19,818 units in July 2026, compared with 11,034 units in the same month last year. This represents an increase of approximately 80 percent year-on-year.
The latest figures indicate a significant recovery in demand in Pakistan’s auto market compared with last year. The strong sales of the Suzuki Alto also suggest that demand for affordable and fuel-efficient vehicles remains strong among Pakistani consumers.
