Islamabad: A grand celebration is being organized in the federal capital today on the occasion of Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, with citizens invited to participate with their families and friends.
The event will be held at D-Chowk, Islamabad, from 5:00 PM onwards, and entry will be free for everyone.

The celebration will feature live performances by renowned artists Nimra Mehra, Sahir Ali Bagga and Khurram Ayaz Band.
The event will also include dhol performers, Rafi Peer mascots, pipe and percussion bands, a camel band and various other entertainment activities.
Fireworks Display
The celebrations will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display, adding to the festivities and Independence Day celebrations in the capital.
Organizers have invited citizens to come to D-Chowk with their families and friends for public parade and participate in the celebrations marking Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day.
