Gold prices continued their upward trend in Pakistan and international markets for the fourth consecutive day, with a significant increase recorded in the local bullion market.
According to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,200 per tola, taking the new price to Rs487,136 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs3,601, reaching Rs417,640.
ِInternational market
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $42, reaching $4,646 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the local market. The price of silver stood at Rs7,379 per tola.
The continued rise in gold prices has pushed the precious metal to another high level in the domestic market.
