The nikah ceremony of Mahnor Safdar, daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd.) Safdar, was held in Lahore on Saturday. Mahnor is also the granddaughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Pictures and videos from the private ceremony are circulating on social media, while the outfits, watches, handbags and jewellery worn by family members have attracted considerable attention.
The ceremony was held at Jati Umra in Lahore and was attended by close family members and several prominent personalities. Renowned religious scholar Mufti Raghib Hussain Naeemi solemnised the nikah.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hasan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Ali Dar, Maryam Aurangzeb and other family members and notable figures attended the event.
Maryam Nawaz’s Designer Outfit
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz drew attention with her elegant appearance at her daughter’s wedding.
She wore an outfit by the renowned Pakistani designer Pernia by Ayesha. The dress reportedly cost around Rs700,000 and was made from pure China raw silk and Chantilly lace. It featured delicate embroidery and a luxury couture design.
Aizaan Jabbar’s Luxury Watch
Mahnor Safdar’s husband, Aizaan Jabbar, is the son of prominent flour-mill industrialist Jabbar Khalid. Mahnor and Aizaan have both studied at SOAS University of London.
Aizaan’s watch also became a topic of discussion on social media. According to reports, he wore a Cubitus watch by luxury brand Patek Philippe. The watch’s retail price is estimated at around $45,000, equivalent to approximately Rs12.4 million.
Shanzeh Ali Roheel’s Designer Dress and Handbag
Shanzeh Ali Roheel, wife of Junaid Safdar and daughter-in-law of Maryam Nawaz, attended the ceremony in an outfit designed by Indian fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
The dress was reportedly valued at around Rs3.5 million. She also carried a Judith Leiber handbag, whose reported price is approximately Rs1.742 million.

For her nikah ceremony, Mahnor Safdar wore a light-golden bridal outfit designed by Pakistani fashion designer Nida Azwer.
The dress featured intricate embroidery in turquoise, pink, golden and silver shades. However, the final price of the bridal outfit has not been disclosed.
Mahnor was also seen carrying a Jimmy Choo handbag, reportedly worth around Rs1.4 million. She wore a Rolex watch, with its estimated price ranging from Rs1.9 million to Rs2.7 million, depending on the model and market value.
Her bridal look was completed with diamond jewellery and soft ivory glowing makeup by Makeup Studio by Sehrish. Her hair was styled in a semi-open look, adding to her elegant and understated appearance.
Estimated Value of the Outfits and Accessories
Based on the reported prices, the combined value of the prominent outfits, watches and handbags worn by Maryam Nawaz, Aizaan Jabbar, Shanzeh Ali Roheel and Mahnor Safdar is estimated at between Rs216 million and Rs224 million.
This estimate includes approximately Rs1.5 million attributed to Mahnor Safdar’s Nida Azwer bridal outfit and diamond jewellery. However, the final price of her bridal dress has not been confirmed.
Maryam Nawaz Had Also Drawn Attention at Junaid Safdar’s Wedding
Maryam Nawaz had previously attracted attention on social media for the expensive outfits she wore at the wedding of her son, Junaid Safdar.
At that time, the combined reported value of her various outfits was estimated at around Rs5 million.
